Vincent de Paul <br />Name of Funded Program- Cold/Wet Weather Shelter (Armory) Program <br />Annual Accomplishment Goal <br />I. Total number of unduplicated clients (Santa Ana and Non -Santa Ana Residents) anticipated to be served by <br />the funded program, named above, during the 12 -month contract period. <br />11246 PERSONS <br />II. Number of only unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program, named above, <br />during the 12 -month contract period. <br />853 PERSONS <br />Program and Funding Description <br />III. Description of Work — In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month <br />contract period. <br />The Cold/Wet Weather Emergency Shelter (Armory) Program provides chronically homeless men, women and children with <br />critically needed emergency shelter during the coldest nights of the year, and access to additional services that promote stability and <br />long-term self-sufficiency. Shelter clients are provided lodging; one hot meal, a continental breakfast, and a sack lunch; roundtrip <br />transportation to and from the shelter from designated pick-up locations; showers; clothing; and information and referrals to <br />comprehensive essential services that address the needs of the chronically homeless. The Program is housed at the Santa Ana <br />Armory and has a paid staff of 14 and over 90 volunteers who provide 121 nights of continuous service from December 1 st through <br />March 30th each year. <br />IV. Activities funded by this grant — How will ESG funds be used for the funded program? Narratively <br />describe the budget for the funded program illustrated in Exhibit B and B-1. <br />The support provide by ESG funding is used solely to help pay the cost for renting the National Guard Armory, which serves as the <br />site for the Cold/Wet Weather (Armory) Program.
