Grantees who choose to procure <br />such equipment prior to publication of the standard and completion of <br />NIOSH testing should consider induding provisions wilhin their equipment <br />procurement contracts whereby vendors/manufacturers must retrofit or <br />replace equipment that fails to meel requirements of the forthcoming <br />standard.
