In addi tion, Video Engineering Services <br />assists the City Clerk and other users of the Council Chambers with audio <br />recordings and lighting in the Council Chambers, and provides technical <br />assistance on other audio/visual related projects. <br /> <br />This year, due to changes in the franchise agreement, Adelphia Cable <br />ceased producing the televised Council meetings and Video Engineering <br />Services began providing production staff to televise one City Council <br />meeting each month. This amendment includes an additional $13,200 for <br />Video Engineering Services to televise the second City Council meeting of <br />each month starting December 18, 2006. This amendment also includes a <br />$6,800 contingency to address any unanticipated production or programming <br />issues. The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency is satisfied <br />with the quality of service provided by Video Engineering Services, and <br />requests to extend the term of the agreement for a one-year period. <br /> <br />25F-1 <br />
