Interior painting services are required <br />at times by all City departments for the purposes of general maintenance, <br />building modifications, and renovation. Exterior painting of buildings is <br />necessary to improve their appearance, repair and prevent damage due to <br />normal exposure to the elements or graffiti, and help maintain clean, <br />attractive facilities. The contract for painting services will provide <br />fixed pricing for painting services for all City departments. <br />On October 4, 2004, the City Council awarded a contract to Solorio, Inc. <br />for a two-year period with provision for two, one-year renewals. The <br />vendor has agreed to renew the contract with no price increase.
