Conditional Approvals <br /> <br />The Fiscal Year 2005 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP 05) <br />integrates the following six programs into a single application: <br /> <br />I. State Homeland Security Program (SHSP 05) <br />2. Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI 05)* <br />3. Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program (LETPP 05) <br />4. Citizen Corps Program (CCP) <br />5. Emergency Management Performance Grants (EMPG 05) <br />6. Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS 05) <br /> <br />Eligible subgrantees will be required to complete their application, referred to <br />as the ISIP (Initial Strategy Implementation Plan), using DHS' on-line tool. <br />The state is working with DHS to schedule subgrantee ISIP training classes in <br />January 2005, and more training information will be released under separate <br />cover. <br /> <br />*OHS will work with the four Utban Areas with nonprofit allocations to <br />establish nonprofit application and evaluation criteria. More information <br />about the nonprofit application and evaluation process will be released by <br />OHS at a later date. Nonprofits should not submit an HSGP 05 application <br />until further guidance is issued bv OHS, <br /> <br />Subgrantees must take a regional approach when determining the best use of <br />HSGP 05 funds.
