Part One — Grant Overview, Continued <br />OA The OA's responsibilities are to: <br />Responsibilities <br />1. Submit a grant application package to OES by March 15, 2006 that <br />represents the consensus of the OA's Operational Area Council. <br />2. Comply with all assurances and certifications contained in the Grant <br />Assurances submitted with the FY06 EMPG application. <br />3. Prepare performance reports for the duration of the performance period. <br />Further reporting details are included in Part Four, Performance Period <br />Activities, under "Performance Reports ". <br />4. Maintain financial management systems that support grant activities in <br />accordance with 44 CFR Part 13.20. <br />If changes are required after the initial grant award, submit revision <br />requests to OES, prior to incurring the associated expenditures. Further <br />details are included in Part Four, Performance Period Activities, under <br />"Revision Requests ". <br />6. Remit unexpended grant funds to OES after all work has been completed <br />and payments have been disbursed. <br />7. Maintain property, programmatic and financial records in accordance with <br />the grant record retention requirements. Further details on the retention <br />requirement are contained in Part Four, Performance Period Activities, <br />under "Record Retention Requirements ". <br />8.
