B. Interference with work on utilities: The CONTRACTOR shall cooperate fully with all utility forces of the CITY or forces of other public or private agencies engaged in the relocation, altering, or otherwise rearranging of any facilities which interfere with the progress of the WORK, and shall schedule the WORK so as to minimize interference with said relocation, altering, or other rearranging of facilities. 1.5 WORK SEQUENCE A. The CONTRACTOR's attention is directed to the fact that during the period of construction, minimal interruption in the flow and pump operation can be accommodated. The CONTRACTOR shall submit a schedule to the CITY indicating the time and duration of the interruptions so that the CITY may properly coordinate operations. The CITY may require the CONTRACTOR to rearrange or alter this schedule in order to meet operational requirements. B. Access to the sites is limited to regular working hours. Access during any other hours may be attained if proper arrangements are made with the CITY (minimum of 24 hour notice). 1.6 CONTRACTOR USE OF PROJECT SITE A. The CONTRACTOR's use of the project site shall be limited to its construction operations, including on -site storage of materials, on -site fabrication facilities, and field offices. 1.7 CITY USE OF THE PROJECT SITE A. The CITY may utilize all or part of the existing facilities during the entire period of construction for the conduct of the CITY's normal operations. The CONTRACTOR shall cooperate and coordinate with the CITY to facilitate the CITY's operations and to minimize interference with the CONTRACTOR's operations at the same time. In any event, the CITY shall be allowed access to the project site during the period of construction. 1.8 PARTIAL UTILIZATION OF THE WORK BY CITY A. The CITY will take partial utilization of the WORK upon completion of the start-up at each site. Partial utilization will involve the placing into service of the SMS Server Computer and security equipment at each site. 1.9 PROJECT MEETINGS A. Preconstruction Conference: 1. Prior to the commencement of WORK at the site, a preconstruction conference will be held at a mutually agreed time and place which shall be attended by the CONTRACTOR's Project Manager, and its Subcontractors as the CONTRACTOR deems appropriate.
