The parties entered into Agreement A-2003-225, dated November 3, 2003. <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided janitorial services <br />for the Santa Ana Police Department, Jail Facility and grounds. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />exercise the option to extend the term for an additional one-year period and to increase <br />compensation to pay for services during the extended term <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />To ail the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Third <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Section 2.a, COMPENSATION, shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the <br />following: <br /> <br />"City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, <br />the rates and charges identified in Exhibit A-2, attached to this Third Amendment to <br />Agreement. Compensation to be paid for services performed pursuant so said Agreement <br />shall not exceed $420,000.00 during the term from December I, 2006 through November <br />30, 2007. Total compensation to be expended under this Agreement shall not exceed <br />$1,527,000.00 during the term of said Agreement." <br /> <br />2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date from November 30, <br />2006 through November 30, 2007. The parties agree that services provided from <br />December 1, 2006, through the effective date ofthis Amendment shall be included within <br />the Scope of Services of this Amendment. <br /> <br />3.
