NO. 06-187) <br /> <br />a~a <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Award a contract to Generator Services Co., Inc., <br />for a two-year period with provision for two, <br />annual amount not to exceed $25,000. <br /> <br />for generator maintenance <br />one-year renewals in an <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Building Maintenance Division of the Finance & Management Services <br />Agency is responsible for maintenance and repair of various City buildings. <br />The diesel and gas powered backup generators located at the City Hall, <br />Corporation Yard, Police Administration Building, and ten fire stations are <br />critical for maintaining essential operations during an emergency. The <br />generators require regularly scheduled maintenance and load testing to <br />ensure the equipment will be operational when necessary.
