<br />THE SCHEDULE <br />At present, the Sponsor believes that the timing will be as follows: <br />April 10, 2002 <br />April 22, 2002 <br />May 13, 2002 <br />May 24, 2002 <br />June 10, 2002 <br />July 1, 2002 <br />July 8, 2002 <br />July 8, 2002 to September 1S, 2002 <br />September 16, 2002 <br />November 2003 <br />December 2003 <br />Release of RFQ <br />Pre-Submittal Conference <br />RFQ Response Submission <br />Ranking of Respondents and Selection of Finalists ("Shortlist") <br />Presentations by Selected Finalists (if necessary) <br />Team's Contract Awarded by City of Santa Ana City Council <br />Project Kick-Off <br />Schematic Design/Design Development Complete <br />Commence Construction Documents and Obtain all Necessary <br />Permitting <br />Construction Completion Deadline <br />Scheduled Construction of State Appeals Court (by Others) <br />OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />1. The project will be implemented in compliance with the City of Santa Ana's policies, as well <br />as Prevailing Wages. <br />.- <br />2. The Sponsor regards the inclusion of California-based designs, engineering, and construction <br />professionals, facilities, and services as part of the Team to be highly desirable, but not <br />mandatory. <br />3. r The Sponsor reserves the right to modify any and all aspects of the selection process, and <br />waive any defects as to form or content of the Team's proposals. <br />4. The Sponsor reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses received as a result of <br />this request, and to cancel in part or in its entirety this Request for Qualifications. If all <br />proposals are rejected, the Sponsor is not barred from resoliciting. <br />S. The Sponsor reserves [he right to amend [his Request for Qualifications by addendum prior to <br />the final dates of submission. <br />6. All reports, proposals, or other data or materials which are submitted shall become the sole <br />property of the City of Santa Ana with the exception of the confidential Financial Capacity <br />information and sealed fee proposals which will be returned to all proposers after award of <br />contract to the selected Team. <br />6of9 <br />
