UASI provides funds to <br />local emergency first responders to enhance security and overall <br />preparedness to prevent, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism. <br />The grant specifically provides funding for anti-terror equipment, <br />planning, training, exercises and technical assistance. <br /> <br />Both the cities of Santa Ana and Anaheim were recipients of an FY 2005 UASI <br />grant and have worked closely in developing a UASI grant mandated Three- <br />Year Exercise Program. Under an existing agreement, the City of Anaheim <br />has agreed to contribute funds in the amount of $375,000 to the cost of the <br />exercises detailed in the Three-Year Exercise Program. <br /> <br />20A-1 <br />
