Tustin $1,638,932 A total of five bids were received and all were responsive. The lowest bid was submitted by C.G. Construction, Inc., for $1,068,888, which is above the Engineer's estimate of $950,000. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed project has been determined to be adequately evaluated in previously approved Negative Declaration, ER No. 2002-06. FISCAL IMPACT This project is funded by the State Urban Recreational Centers and Wildlife Education Programs grant, Residential Development District 2 in- lieu revenue and a donation from the Wildlands Conservancy. In 2002, the Wildlands Conservancy donated, and City Council appropriated, $350,000 for landscaping and wildlife education at the center. Because of the educational nature of the center, the Wildlands Conservancy has authorized the City to use $250,000 of the original $350,000 for construction and furniture. The appropriation adjustment transfers Wildlands Conservancy funds to the appropriate project number for construction and furniture. The funding analysis shows a total estimated construction cost of $1,335,700 for the project (Exhibit 2) Funds in the amount of $742,500 are available in the State Urban Recreational Centers and Wildlife 23A-2
