<br />Part Two - Program Specific Information, Continued <br /> <br />Eligible <br />Exercise <br />Activities <br /> <br />Eligible exercise activities include: <br /> <br />. Planning, designing, developing, conducting, participating in and <br />evaluating exercises and projects that train homeland security <br />preparedness, prevention and response personnel. <br />. Evaluating prevention and response plans, policies, procedures and <br />protocols. <br />. Assessing the readiness of jurisdictions to prevent and respond to a <br />terrorist attack. <br />. Planning, conducting and participating in an Exercise Planning <br />Workshop. <br />. Setting up and maintaining a system to track the completion and <br />submission of After Action Reports, the implementation of corrective <br />actions from exercises, and meeting with local units of government to <br />define procedures. <br /> <br />Exercises must be threat and performance-based, in accordance with ODP's <br />Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) manuals. <br />These manuals provide explicit direction on the design, conduct, and <br />evaluation of terrorism exercises. Exercises conducted with ODP support <br />(grant funds or direct support) must be managed and executed in accordance <br />with HSEEP. See www.oip.usdoi.gov/odp/cxcrcises/statc.htm . <br /> <br />The date, time and location of any exercise to be conducted with grant funds <br />must be given to the CMD at the time such exercise is initially scheduled. <br />This information can be given to the CMD by calling Major Louis Millikan at <br />(916) 826-6399 or e-mailinglouis.millikan(cVca.ngb.armv.mil.
