COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Christy <br />· Thanked participants of the "Walk a Child to School Day." <br /> <br />In response to Councilmember Christy's inquiry, Fire Chief Martin explained the <br />procedure that Firefighters follow in the event of an earthquake, noting that all fire <br />apparatus is immediately removed from the garage when an earthquake strikes and <br />a '~vindshield" survey of the City is conducted to quickly respond to any emergency <br />situation.
