<br />N-2006-092-01 <br /> <br />6-1-0'1 <br /> <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br />3 - ;J.o -0'1 <br />IX PI) ~ <br />r-i.s~ <br /> <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, is entered into on February 22, <br />2007, by and between Doubletree Hotel Santa Ana/Orange County Airport (hereinafter <br />"Doubletree"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California ("City"). <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement # N-2006-092, dated August 24, 2006, <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Doubletree agrees to provide event services <br />for the annual Santa Ana Police Department awards banquet. <br /> <br />B. The City has determined that the number of people attending the event has increased. <br /> <br />C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />increase the compensation available from City to pay for the event services. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />First Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the <br />following: <br /> <br />"City agrees to pay, and Doubletree agrees to accept as total payment for its services, <br />the rates and charges identified in Exhibit A. The total sum to be expended by the <br />City and/or sponsors of said event pursuant to this Agreement shall not exceed <br />$18,000.00, collectively, during the term of this Agreement. <br /> <br />2.
