<br />~ <br /> <br />Proposa1 to City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />ADDlication Service Provider (VaS to Host Software) <br /> <br />In addition to iVOS, vas is providing information about our ASP model along with it benefits. <br />The benefits associated with our ASP are: <br /> <br />. VOS hosts the software and database at vas <br />. The City will access the software via the Internet and or other communication line <br />. VOS eliminates the need for City to support a database server and physical database <br />for your claims system operation <br />. vas takes on the responsibility to provide and maintain the server and database <br />platform <br />. One point of contact for support of both infrastructure and software <br />. Technical expertise (No DBA services required) <br />. Constant IT oversight and management <br />. Reduce'or eliminate IT Staff <br />. Data located offsite <br />. Replication of servers <br /> <br />Below is an outline of the services that will be included in the ASP service provided by VOS if <br />the City chooses to implement iVOS using this model. <br /> <br />Remote Access <br /> <br />~ Access via the Internet <br />~ System is available 8am - 6pm Monday through Saturday <br />(System will be available outside of the hours noted above but will be subject to <br />potential unavailability for vas maintenance procedures. <br />~ Customer support is available 8am Eastern- 6pm Pacific Monday through Friday <br /> <br />System Infrastructure <br /> <br />~ Hardware <br />~ Database <br />~ Operating System <br />~ Ancillary Software (excluding e-mail, fax, etc.) <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />In addition to the standard system support, vas will provide the System Administration <br />support normally provided by In-bollse leebaical staff. Services are available during normal <br />support hours. Other procedures such as check generation, correspondence modification, <br />and reference table maintenance will be the responsibility of Client Personnel. Examples of <br />services provided by vas are listed below as well as examples of tasks to be performed by <br />Client. <br /> <br />Services provided by VOS <br /> <br />~ Database administration tasks - such as killing runaway jobs, monitoring logs, <br />backups, testing backups, monitoring performance/capacities etc.) <br /> <br />Service provided to client at an additional cost: <br />~ Running standard monthly reporting history periods for value-as-<>freporting. <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Exhibit\lq~ 39 <br />
