LORRIE BOLDRICK <br />TO PROVIDE VETERINARY SERVICES FOR <br />THE SANTA ANA ZOO AT PRENTICE PARK <br /> <br />o As Recommended <br />o As Amended <br />o Ordinance on 1 sl Reading <br />o Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />o Implementing Resolution <br />o Set Public Hearing For <br /> <br />,,~ <br />{,J <br /> <br />,fl/fl~ <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and <br />Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with Dr. Lorrie Boldrick, <br />DBA Quillie Acres, to provide veterinary services for the Santa Ana Zoo <br />at Prentice Park for a period of one year in an amount not to exceed <br />$68,000. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park is required by the United States <br />Department of Agriculture to provide veterinary services for the <br />collection of animals maintained at the Zoo. Dr. Boldrick will provide a <br />comprehensive program of preventative and curative medical care for the <br />entire Zoo collection, including the exotic animals.
