C. Construction Phase <br />Once the necessary building permits have been acquired, construction may <br />commence. The Vendor/Contractor will be fully responsible for all aspects of <br />construction, including the following: <br />• Management of the construction activities. <br />• Furnishing and installation of all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to <br />complete the project, in place, and fully operational as identified in the scope <br />of work for Design Development and Related Work. <br />• Coordination with City personnel, including the City Project Manager and the <br />assigned Depot representative. <br />• Coordinating all inspections required by the City as required by the permits. <br />• Job site safety for the Vendor/Contractor personnel as well as the general <br />public using the Depot. <br />• Quality control and quality assurance. <br />• Repair of all ancillary damage, such as patching and painting, caused by the <br />construction activities to the satisfaction of the City Project Manager. <br />• Provide a one-year guarantee on all work performed. <br />• Labor costs will be subject to the Prevailing Wage Rate requirements as <br />established by the State of California. <br />10 <br />
