AGMT NO.2000-177 - LEASE AGREEMENT-,W[RELESS 8,ER`,ll: % <br />Motion: Authorize the City Attorney to prepare and the Mayor and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute agreement. <br />With AT&T Wireless Service to install a cellular monopole at the Santa Ana <br />Stadium/Eddie West Field - Parks, Recreation, and Community Services <br />Agency. <br />Councilmember Bist raised concerns about the location of a second <br />monopole at the Eddie West Stadium Field. Dean Brown, representing <br />AT&T Wireless, noted that the proposed monopalm would be located next <br />to two other taller palm trees. He further stated that AT&T had explored <br />other locations, however, the site at Eddie West was the most feasible <br />location. Further debate ensued and members asked staff to work with the <br />various communications companies to investigate changes in technology <br />and to look at other types of structures as well as co -locating monopoles in <br />one area. <br />Following the debate, the motion (McGuigan -Lutz) to authorize the City <br />Attorney to prepare and the Mayor and Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement with AT&T Wireless Service failed of adoption by the following <br />vote: <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 331 OCTOBER 16, 2000 <br />
