<br />State, or by any law or regulation governing the affected member <br />Agency. <br /> <br />1.07 In gathering and sharing information, and in all other respects in <br />performing acts related to this Agreement, the parties will comply with <br />all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. <br /> <br />II <br />CREATION OF THE INTEGRATED LAW & JUSTICE AGENCY OF ORANGE <br />COUNTY <br /> <br />2.01 By this Agreement, the Member Agencies hereby create a separate <br />legal entity to be known as the Inteqrated Law & Justice Aqencv of Oranqe Countv <br />("ILJAOC"). The Member Agencies may agree on a different name for the ILJAOC. <br /> <br />2.02 The ILJAOC shall possess in its own name and the Member <br />Agencies delegate to it, the following enumerated powers: <br /> <br />a) To make and enter into contracts consistent with this <br />Agreement, including, but not limited to, contracts to purchase <br />and/or dispose of supplies and equipment to carryout the <br />implementation of the Strategic Plan and any adopted <br />amendments to that plan. <br />b) To receive compensation, gifts, contributions, and donations of <br />property, funds, services, and other forms of financial <br />assistance from persons, firms, corporations, and any <br />governmental entity. <br />c) To sue and be sued in its own name. <br />d) To apply for an appropriate grant or grants under any Federal, <br />State, or local programs for assistance in developing any of its <br />programs or providing services to other public entities. <br />e) To appoint committees, adopt rules, regulations, policies, by- <br />laws, and procedures governing the operation of the ILJAOC. <br />5 <br />
