Award a contract to Fleming Environmental, Inc. , the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the base bid plus add-on alternate two in the <br />estimated amount of $673,870 for construction of the Zoo at Prentice <br />Park Picnic Area and Lighting, Delhi Park Landscaping, and Centennial <br />Park Picnic Shelters. <br /> <br />2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost of <br />$842,300. <br /> <br />3. Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing $156,000 in the <br />Residential Development District 3 revenue account (account no. 313- <br />01-5070-3) and appropriating this amount to the Residential <br />Development District 3 expenditure account (account no. 313-232-6631); <br />and recognizing $74,000 in the Residential Development District 4 <br />revenue account (account no. 314-01-5070-2) and appropriating this <br />amount to the Residential Development District 4 expenditure account <br />(account no. 314-232-6631). <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Some of the existing amenities at the Zoo at Prentice Park, Delhi Park, <br />and Centennial Park have deteriorated and are in need of replacement or <br />upgrades (Exhibit 1) . This project consists of replacing the <br />existing shade structure with an open space picnic area including new <br />benches, landscaping, concrete walkways, and a new lighting system at the <br />Zoo at Prentice Park. <br /> <br />238-1 <br />
