WITH ALL <br />COUNClLMEMBERS PRESENT. <br /> <br />Motion (McGuigan - Christy) to reconsider Consent Calendar to correct Minutes of <br />the Adjourned Regular and Regular Council Meetings of March 19, 2001. (See <br />Minutes Page 114.) <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />90.A. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Brooke Stewart addressed Council relative to additional funding for library <br />books; Alex Vega addressed the Council and thanked Councilmembers <br />AIvarez and Solorio for coming to a meeting in his neighborhood; Annette <br />Pfister and Lorraine Whalen raised concerns relative to the proposed Santa <br />Ana Double Track project. <br /> <br />90.B. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Alvarez <br />· Stated that she supported and would <br /> <br /> like to join the resolution <br />adopted on August 7, 2000 in support of the Santa Ana Unified <br />School District's efforts to obtain 75 acres of Tustin Marine Corps Air <br />Station for school development purposes <br />Thanked staff, with special mention to Chief Walters and his staff for <br />the tremendous work performed at the grand opening of the <br />International Trade Center on March 22, 2001 <br /> <br />Councilmember Christy <br />· Congratulated Councilmember Solorio on the successful events <br /> honoring Cesar Chavez held on March 31,2001 <br />· Announced that the new cable company, Adelphia, had changed all <br /> the cable channels without notification to customers, and asked <br /> Cleve Williams, Executive Director, Parks, Recreation, and <br /> Community Services Agency to investigate whether this was done in <br /> violation of the City's cable agreement <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 129 APRIL 2, 2001 <br /> <br /> <br />
