The contract will provide <br />for the monthly cleaning of concrete areas with high pedestrian traffic <br />by means of high pressure washing, thereby improving the appearance and <br />maintaining clean, attractive areas. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on March 16 and 19, 2007, and a <br />request for proposals was solicited. A summary of the request for <br />proposal invitations and proposals received is as follows: <br /> <br />18 Requests For Proposal Mailed <br />3 Requests For Proposal Mailed to Santa Ana vendors <br />1 Proposal Received <br /> <br />The proposal received was opened on April 4, 2007, and evaluated. The <br />bid received from Hydroblast Exterior Cleaning Company is responsive to <br />the specification. Hydroblast has been providing this service in the <br />Civic Center for the past five years and staff has been pleased with the <br />level of performance under the existing contract. <br /> <br />25C-1 <br /> <br />
