CITY WIDE BAN ON TAGGER SUPPLIES <br />Deputy Chief Tony Harrelson gave a presentation to answer the questions <br />and issues that were expressed at the February 5, 2007 City Council <br />meeting regarding graffiti enforcement and the Graffiti Task Force. He <br />reviewed each of the questions and gave the Police Department response <br />to them. He related that the Graffiti Task Force has developed an anti- <br />graffiti campaign that involves posters in both English and Spanish that <br />promote a reward for tagging-related convictions. Also, a web page will <br />be developed for the City's web site informing the public of operations, <br />rewards and general information about the graffiti program. He also <br />stated that GPS digital cameras will be installed in specific areas in the <br />near future. <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Julie Stroud encouraged the adoption of the new Animal Services <br />Ordinances. <br />Glen Stroud agreed that there should be penalty enhancements for <br />tagging. <br />6.
