Wilson for the purchase of a portion <br />of the property located at 2502 North Bristol Street in the amount of <br />$16,450.00 - Public Works Agency <br /> <br />AGMT NO. 2001-127 - GIS PROGRAMMING AND CONSULTING <br />SERVICES - With Redlands Software, Inc. to provide Geographic <br />Information System programming and technical services to the Public <br />Works Agency for a one-year period in an amount not to exceed <br />$120,000.00 - Public Works Agency <br /> <br />Councilmember Christy expressed concerns relative to contract <br />performance and requested that this matter be continued for two weeks so <br />that additional information could be provided. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. Councilmember Franklin recommended that the <br />Council approve the contract, however, he suggested that a <br />representative from Hernandez Cart Service Inc. be invited to a future <br />meeting of the Neighborhood Improvement and Code Enforcement <br />Committee (NICE) to address Councilmember Christy's concerns. Mayor <br />Pulido noted that some businesses have installed tripping mechanisms to <br />curtail cart removal from store premises and suggested that the NICE <br />Committee investigate the feasibility of encouraging businesses to install <br />similar devices.
