PUBLIC HEARING <br />Legal Notice published in the Orange County Register and mailed on <br />August 10, 2001 <br />Presentation of staff report by Planning Manager Charles View <br />Presentation of written communication by Clerk of the Council: None <br />There were no speakers; the public hearing was closed <br />Following presentation of the staff report, Council discussion ensued <br />Mayor Pro Tern McGuigan moved, seconded by Councilmember Christy <br />that this matter be continued 30 days to allow the Council time to confer <br />with staff further on this issue for additional information. Councilmember <br />Bist asked if other cities have adopted similar ordinances. <br />Councilmember Alvarez suggested that staff receive input from the Santa <br />Ana and Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and COMLINK. <br />Motion: Continue matter to September 17, 2001. <br />MOTION: McGuigan SECOND: Christy <br />VOTE: AYES: Alvarez, Bist, Christy, Franklin, McGuigan, <br />Pulido, Solorio (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None <br />WORK STUDY SESSIONS <br />WS.A.
