REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br />June 4, 2007 <br />TITLE: <br />FISCAL YEAR 2007-08 MISCELLANEOUS FEE <br />RESOLUTION <br />CI MANAGER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />^ As Recommended <br />^ As Amended <br />^ Ordinance on 15' Reading <br />^ Ordinance on 2ntl Reading <br />^ Implementing Resolution <br />^ Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Adopt a resolution establishing the 2007-08 Schedule of Uniform Fees for <br />Miscellaneous Services. <br />The Miscellaneous Fee Resolution is comprised of various fees associated <br />with city services, building fees and enterprise fees. These fees <br />generate revenue for the General, Internal and Enterprise Funds. <br />Annually, the fees and services associated with the Miscellaneous Fee <br />Resolution are reviewed and adjusted to reflect the costs of providing <br />these services. The FY 2007-08 Miscellaneous Fee Resolution represents <br />these adjustments. <br />The FY 2007-2008 Miscellaneous Fee Schedule includes the establishment of <br />six new fees. These fees include the rental of the Eddie west stadium <br />grandstands and field level seating for commercial events, downtown <br />skyline banner application and installation, sign removal from public <br />right of way and temporary construction meter deposit. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />It is estimated that the proposed fee schedule will generate an <br />additional $1.6 million in general, internal, and enterprise fund <br />revenue. <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />yy i <br />-F 2121 K~0 ~.
