Shulse Family Trust and appropriate the funds for the <br />of the Library Teen Center. <br />The Library Department will use the $123,000 bequest from the Estella R. <br />Shulse Family Trust to convert an area of the Main Library to a Teen Area. <br />The Library has identified an area of approximately 2,000 square feet in <br />the staff occupied basement area that could be converted for this use. The <br />Teen Area of the Library will help serve the educational, informational and <br />recreational needs of the library's teen patrons. The area will be <br />utilized to plan, facilitate, and implement teen programs. In addition, <br />the area will create an inviting atmosphere at the Library and maintain a <br />safe, fun, and interesting area for teens.
