HEALY, Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />OPEN SESSION <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 54954.2(b) of the Brown Act, the Council may add an item to its <br />agenda within the 72 hours period when the Council finds that (1) an emergency <br />condition exists that prevents waiting until the next meeting, and (2) the need to take <br />action became known to the City after the posting of the agenda. <br /> <br />The City Attorney advised the City Council that Waste Management announced a trash <br />strike over the weekend. The City Manager recommended the following agenda item <br />be added to the Closed Session Agenda: <br /> <br />Motion: Find that there is a need to add item that arose subsequent to the <br /> posting of the Agenda. <br /> <br />CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL--ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 <br /> <br />Initiation of litigation pursuant to subdivision (c) of Government Code <br />Section 54956.9 - 1 case. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 355 OCTOBER 1, 2001 <br /> <br /> <br />
