Guy <br />Pursuant to the Procedures of the City of Santa Ana for implementation of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act, the Environmental Evaluator has completed <br />an Initial Study for the project described below: <br />Project Numbers ER 95-60 <br />Applicants City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency <br />Project Location/Addreaet The new bikeway will begin at Flower Street, just <br />south of Oyer Road, and extend Northeast along <br />the southeide of the railroad right-of-way. The <br />project will terminate at orange Street and Adams <br />street, where the Maple Bikeway begins. <br />Project Title/Descriptions Alton/Maple Bikeway Gap Closure <br />The Public Works Agency proposes to construct a 0.95 mile bikeway connecting the <br />Alton trail and Maple trail ae one continuous bikeway. The bikeway is proposed <br />within the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way. Thies project is consistent <br />with both the City and County Bikeway Master Plan. <br />and doss hereby find: <br />That the proposed project cannot, or will not, have a significant effect <br />on the environment.
