The City desires to retain a consultant having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br />catch basin and culvert inspection and cleaning, for the purpose of meeting National <br />Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements. <br /> <br />B. Consultant represents that Consultant is able and willing to provide such services to the <br />City. <br /> <br />C. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Consultant represents that it is <br />knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Consultant under this <br />Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably be <br />expected from a professional consulting fInn in the field. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide storm drain and catch basin inspection and cleaning as necessary <br />for City compliance with NPDES requirements. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION <br /> <br />a. City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, <br />the following rates and charges: <br />· Inspect and clean City storm drains (20 at a time) <br />· Transport and dispose of nonhazardous waste <br />. Laboratory analysis <br />. Catch basin culvert cleaning <br />Vactron with operator (8 hour) $600/day <br />Techinician (8 Hour) $304fday <br />Jetter unit 14000 PSI wash unit (8 hour) $480/day <br />15% fuel surcharge $90/day <br />transport & dispose of nonhazardous waste $60fton <br />The parties anticipate that additional services may be required, and will be charged at the rates <br />and charges listed. The total sum to be expended under this Agreement shall not exceed <br />$22,500.00 during the term of this Agreement. <br /> <br />$60/each <br />$65/ton <br />$200 <br />
