INSURANCE ON FILE <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />6.20.07 _1 WC- 3-1-0 <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />nATE: 6 -/Y-0> <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into <br />on May 7, 2007, by and between Sapphos Environmental, Inc., a California corporation <br />("Consultant') and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement # A-2006-051, dated March 21, 2006, (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided historic resources consulting <br />services. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />amend said Agreement to extend the term and increase compensation to pay for <br />services during the extended term. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />First Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 1, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended, to read, in full, as set forth in <br />Exhibit A-], attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. <br />2. Section 2, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by <br />$90,000.00 to pay for services provided during the 2007/2008 fiscal year. <br />3. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date to June 30, 2008. <br />4. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />
