Of the firms that <br />eligible 501(c)(3) non-profit <br />Boy Scouts of America Soccer and <br />Ioccer Club. The proposal submitted <br />meet the 501(c)(3) requirement <br />Each proposal was evaluated based on the vendor's experience and capacity <br />to deliver the program, the sustainability of the program, and past <br />performance. The evaluation results were as follows: <br /> Score <br />California Youth Soccer Disqualified <br />Conquist America 459 <br />O.C. Council, Boy Scouts of America 330 <br />The proposal received from Conquist America was most responsive to the <br />specification and meets the City's requirements. The Conquist America <br />Soccer Club program serves 95 percent Santa Ana residents, between the <br />ages of 16 through 18, and provides them with advanced level athletic <br />training along with higher education preparatory guidance to secure their <br />future academic success. The educational support proposed by Conquist <br />America through its Education Foundation includes Princeton Review, SAT <br />and ACT preparation, laptop computers, community-based field trips, <br />leadership development clinics, and college application process guidance <br />and expense compensation. These services are all provided at no cost to <br />the student athletes and their families. In addition, Conquist America <br />pledged a $25,000 marketing contribution, which will be used to promote <br />the program at the Stadium. The City proposes to enter into a three-year <br />agreement with Conquist America, with two one-year renewal options. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The appropriation adjustment will recognizing $25,000 in Stadium <br />advertising revenue in the Capital Outlay Fund account(no.51-01-5799-4) <br />and recognize same in expenditure account for District 2 improvements <br />(account no 51-250-6631). <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNT: <br />Gerardo Mouet Francis~o Gut errez, ~~ <br />Executive Dir ctor Executive Director <br />Parks, Rec. a d Com.
