Benchmark Technical Specialties <br />Aoolications S Development Services Cateaory <br />Lead Database Administrator, SQL <br />Duties <br />Education/Certification <br />Work Experience /Skills /Knowledge /Abilities <br />Other <br />• In a Windows environment, perform data modeling, <br />design and production database administration. <br />• Provide database support for system projects <br />implementations, new application processes, <br />maintenance and upgrades. <br />• Prepare technical documentation, configuration and <br />data /application location on the application servers. <br />• Develop global enterprise data architecture including <br />subject area data models, data marts, operational <br />data store and future data warehousing opportunities. <br />• Assist in retrieval and delivery of information from <br />enterprise reporting systems. <br />• Prefer MCDBA SQL 7 / 2000 / 2005. <br />• Formal course work in MS SQL Server and data base <br />administration a plus. <br />• 5+ years experience as a SQL Server Database <br />administrator, designing, tuning, archiving and <br />optimizing relational databases in a production SQL <br />7.0, 2000 and 2005 environment. <br />• 4 years as a lead SQL server 2000/2005 DBA is <br />preferred. <br />• Knowledge of data base management theory and <br />practice essential. <br />Experience leading andlor working closely with <br />programmers and analysts in our database <br />development, conversion or upgrade project with a <br />mid to large size enterprise. <br />• Performance tuning, database backup and recovery. <br />• Must have strong experience in data modeling, <br />writing stored procedures, triggers and optimization. <br />• Must possess a solid understanding of relational and <br />dimensional database design methodologies, tools <br />and techniques. <br />• Good analytical, written and verbal communication <br />required. <br />• Skills in data modeling using ERWin. <br />• Minimum 15 Net WPM. <br />• Must have a valid Class C Driver's license. <br />• Manual dexterity to manipulate electronic devices, <br />computers and keyboards. <br />• Ability to read printed documentation and computer <br />screens. <br />• May have to undergo background investigation by <br />Santa Ana Police Department. <br />
