Any in-room air conditioning units placed along Harbor <br />Boulevard will be placed in baffled enclosures reducing <br />transmitted noise, but allowing airflow. <br />17. All construction equipment will be in proper operating <br />condition and fitted with standard factory noise attenuation <br />features. All equipment will be properly maintained to assure <br />that no additional noise, due to worn or improperly maintained <br />parts, would be generated. <br />18. Approved haul routes will be used to minimize exposure of <br />sensitive receptors to potential adverse noise levels from <br />hauling operations. <br />19. To the degree feasible, construction equipment will be sited <br />away from adjacent residential land uses. <br />20. Hydraulic hammer attachments used in pavement and structure <br />demolition will be equipped with a silencing package. <br />21. The project developer will contribute a fair share <br />contribution toward the installation of a traffic signal at <br />the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Kent Avenue, in an <br />amount determined by the City of Santa Ana Public Works <br />Department. <br />22. The project developer will install a right turn only sign <br />facing motorists exiting the site from the project site <br />driveway closest to Kent Avenue. <br />B <br />Police Department <br />1. The property owner will be required to continuously and actively <br />participate in the City of Santa Ana's Crime Free Multi-housing <br />Program. This will require the property owner, managers, <br />leasing staff, maintenance personnel and others in the <br />management team to attend an entire eight-hour training program <br />conducted by the Police Department and that the three phases of <br />the program (Training, OPTED Inspection and safety social) be <br />completed and that the Full Certification Program be maintained <br />through the life of the project. <br />2. The applicant will be required to incorporate the Crime Free <br />Lease/drug free housing Addendum into their leasing procedures. <br />The addendum is subject to review by the Police Department. <br />75D-33 <br />
