If a designee, the highest -level person at <br />the state organization must execute and submit a Signature Authority form <br />with the Application Package. <br />NOTE: The requirement for the creation of an Approval Authority Body, and that the <br />Body must use a 20/20120/40 funding distribution model does not apply to state <br />organizations. <br />For which <br />State organizations may apply for State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), <br />Programs may <br />Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program (LETPP) and Urban Areas <br />State <br />Security Initiative (UASI) funding under FY 06 HSGP. <br />Organizations <br />Apply? <br />What are the <br />State Priorities While the State Homeland Security Strategy broadly describes goals, <br />for FY 06 objectives and implementation steps, the state's priorities for FY 06 HSGP <br />HSGP? are: <br />(1) Interoperable Communications <br />(2) Catastrophic Planning <br />(3) Medical Surge <br />(4) Citizen Preparedness and Participation <br />(5) Mass Prophylaxis <br />(6) Critical Infrastructure Protection <br />(7) Training for First Responders <br />If OHS receives applications for more funds than are available, projects will <br />be approved in accordance with the preceding list of priorities. <br />If a state organization applies for any of the UASI state allocation, the funds <br />must be used to directly support one or more pre - selected urban area(s).
