JOINT CRA/COUNCIL ITEM <br />Glen Stroud thanked staff for realigning bus parking at the museum, <br />however, expressed some concern relative to the impact of the project on <br />Santiago Park <br />Robert Smith, Discovery Science Board member, discussed the scope of <br />the project <br />Council discussion ensued. Councilmember Franklin expressed concern <br />relative to buses being allowed to park in Santiago Park and suggested <br />that additional language be added in the conditions and signage posted in <br />the park to clearly indicate that parking within Santiago Park would not be <br />allowed. <br />Councilmember Solorio expressed concern about the cube exterior, and <br />noted that he did not have a good idea of what it will eventually look like. <br />He asked Mr. Smith and staff to provide more detail on this matter. <br />Motion: <br />City Council Actions <br />1. Certify and approve the Addendum and Environmental Impact <br />Report No. 96-01. <br />2. Place ordinances on first reading and authorize publication of <br />title. <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-2497 - An ordinance of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana approving a Second Amendment to the <br />Development Agreement between the City of Santa Ana and <br />Discovery Museum of Orange County <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-2498 - An ordinance of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana amending Specific Development 65 zoning district <br />(Discovery Science Center) <br />3. Adopt resolution. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-039 - A resolution of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2001-34 as <br />conditioned for the property located at 2500 North Main Street <br />4.
