Retrofitted Ceridian's payroll and accounting application to comply with Oracle schemas. Replaced legacy IMAGE calls with imbedded Oracle SQL, including: PL/SQL blocks, cursor, functions, procedures, triggers, db connects, SQL updates, SQL deletes, etc. • Wrote ad-hoc reporting utilities using intricate methods of UNIX shell scripting combined with Suprtool data r• extracts and Cognos "Quiz" report formatter. • Researched and documented software specification for generating employee W-2 corrections. The proposed design replaced a manual process, resulting in a reduction in staffing and administrative cost.
