<br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />TECHNOLOGY <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />February 8, 2006 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting convened at 5:55 p.m. in Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, <br />California <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br /> <br />City Council Committee members present: Carlos Bustamante, Claudia Alvarez and <br />Lisa Bist <br /> <br />Staff members present: Tom Gergen, Information Systems Manager; Francisco <br />Gutierrez, Finance Director; Rob Richard, Library Director; Ben Kaufman, Chief <br />Assistant City Attorney; Steve Harding, Deputy City Manager, City Manager's Office; <br />Pam-Arends-King, Assistant Director of Finance; Mike Lewellyn, Police Technology and <br />Support Administrator; Carol Molina-Espinoza, Senior Management Analyst; Christine <br />Calderon, Treasurer; Linda Summers, Economic Development Manager <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes for Meeting of January 11, 2006 (Alvarez, Bustamante) <br /> <br />City Web Page Update <br />Linda Summers demonstrated the business portal CD for the City of Long Beach. The <br />City of Santa Ana's CD is currently under construction and will be similar in content. <br /> <br />Discussion of Technology Committee goals and objections for 2006 <br />Christine Calderon outlined three different payment processes, two of which are <br />currently being used by the City. Check processing and credit card processing are the <br />two forms of payment currently accepted by the City. The third option is on-line <br />payment.
