THIRD AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />(LC1', B(ew"") <br /> <br />THIS THIRD AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered <br />into on June 15,2007, by and between Leticia Quiroz ("Consultant") and the City of <br />Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"). <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement N-2004-133, dated November 4, 2004 <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided teacher assistance <br />for jail inmate instruction in GED and computer classes. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />extend said Agreement for an additional ten month term and increase compensation to <br />pay for services during the extended term. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />Third Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by <br />$10,000.00 to pay for services during the extended term. <br /> <br />2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date from August 31, <br />2007 through June 30, 2008. <br /> <br />3.
