AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT rtigTF S_~l-c`2 P~ (~~ THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 16's day of April, 2007, by and between the Orange County t7 Conservation Corps ("OCCC") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). i, ~~~ RECITALS A. The City and Contractor entered into Agreement A-2006-056, dated Apri13, 2006, hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement", to provide career preparation for at risk youth by employing them to complete certain Urban Stream Restoration Projects. B. The parties hereto now desire to amend the Compensation amount found in Section 2 and the Term found in Section 3 of said Agreement. WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: 1. Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase total compensation by $18,600 for a total amount of $108,600. Said section shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: "City and OCCC agree that the total sum to be expended pursuant to this Agreement on the Santiago Creek Project shall not exceed Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) and the total sum to be expended on the Thornton Pazk Project shall not exceed Sixteen thousand six hundred dollazs ($16,600.00). Two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) shall be available to purchase. supplies necessary to complete the Projects. The hourly cost for services to be provided by OCCC members shall be eighteen dollazs and five cents ($18.05). As required, City may adjust the funding amounts allocated to each project, however, the total amount available to be expended pursuant to said Agreement shall not exceed $108,600.00." 2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date to September 19, 2007. 3. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
