CCA/YII13 C l)(flQl'U'l Cc.de11f<) J <br />(WE: FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT UNDER WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT <br />8 -:-07 <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT ("Amendment") is entered into this 1st <br />day of July 2007, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("CITY") <br />and Christian Latino Association of Music and Arts ("CONTRACTOR"). <br /> <br />Recitals: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into an Agreement dated July 1,2006, ("said Agreement") by which <br />Christian Latino Association of Music and Arts, was to provide education, training and <br />employment programs for economically disadvantaged youths for entry into the labor market <br />("said program") through June 30, 2007. <br /> <br />B. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to extend the term for six months. <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Section 3, TIME PERIOD OF THE AGREEMENT, shall be deleted in its entirety and <br />replaced with the following language: <br /> <br />This Agreement shall commence on July 1,2006 and all duties arising under this <br />Agreement shall have been performed by December 30, 2007. The term of this <br />Agreement may be extended by a writing executed by the Executive Director of <br />the Community Development Agency and the City Attorney. <br /> <br />2.
