<br />ItlSU~~~D A-2006-234-01 <br />TI~ ItlSURAllCE EXPIRE' <br />/0-31-,0'1 'COA!w.?fC,) <br />CLERKOFCOIlllCILO' Fl'tIllce~ CClasrCl) <br />O~1E: N-o'lFIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT UNDER WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT <br /> <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT ("Amendment") is entered into this 1st <br />day of July 2007, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("CITY") <br />and Orange County Youth Commission ("CONTRACTOR"). <br /> <br />Recitals: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into an Agreement dated July 1, 2006, ("said Agreement") by which <br />Orange County Youth Commission, was to provide education, training and employment <br />programs for economically disadvantaged youths for entry into the labor market ("said <br />program") through June 30, 2007. <br /> <br />B. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to extend the term for six months. <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 3, TIME PERIOD OF THE AGREEMENT, shall be deleted in its entirety and <br />replaced with the following language: <br /> <br />This Agreement shall commence on July 1, 2006 and all duties arising under this <br />Agreement shall have been performed by December 30, 2007. The term of this <br />Agreement may be extended by a writing executed by the Executive Director of <br />the Community Development Agency and the City Attorney. <br /> <br />2. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Third Amendment to <br />Agreement on the date and year first written above. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Patricia E.
