Mr. Vince Fregoso June 21, 2007 Page 2 scope includes a critical review of the existing studies being prepared and provided by the applicant, and incorporation of the results into the IS/MND. Should these studies be determined to be deficient during our review, we will advise the City accordingly, and the applicant will update the studies to address our concerns. No other technical studies or analysis is anticipated to be required. Task 3. Prepare Mitigation Monitoring Plan In accordance with State law, Jones & Stokes will prepare a Mitigation Monitoring Plan (NIIVIP) for the proposed project. The MMP will include all accepted mitigation measures and an indication of the following: ■ mitigation measure, ■ the project time period to which the measure applies, ■ party responsible for implementing the mitigation, and ■ method of monitoring. Task 4. Finalize and Circulate Initial Study/Proposed MND Following the Cit 's review and comment on the Administrative Draft Initial Study/Proposed MND, Jones & Stokes will revise the document to incorporate comments as appropriate. We will circulate the Initial Study/Proposed MND for public review to interested parties, as directed by the City. For budget purposes, we will assume reproduction and distribution of up to 20 copies. We will also assume responsibility for posting the Notice of Intent to Adopt an MND at the County Clerk's Office. We do not foresee the need to send copies to the State Clearinghouse. The City win be responsible for publishing any newspaper notices and/or mailing notices to surrounding property owners. Task 5. Respond to Comments and Prepare Final Mitigated Negative Declaration Following the public review period of the Initial Study/Proposed MND, Jones & Stokes will respond to agency and public comments. These responses, along with the comments, will be incorporated into the document and the MND will be finalized for consideration by the City Planning Commission/City Council. Jones & Stokes will provide up to 10 copies of the Final MND. Following adoption of the document we will file the Notice of Detemunation with the County Clerk's Office. We assume that the City will provide the Department of Fish and Game Filing Fee or the No Effect Waiver for filing fees. Task 6. Attend Meetings Jones & Stokes' project manager and applicable technical staff will attend any necessary meetings, including public hearings and project coordination meetings. Our budget includes attendance at a kick-off meeting (shown in Task 1) and two meetings to support staff at City Council and Planning Commission meetings.
