Award a contract to Unique Performance Construction, the lowest <br />responsible bidder, in accordance with unit bid prices for the base <br />bid plus alternate one in the estimated amount of $358,500 for Fire <br />Station No. 7 Tenant Improvements project. <br />2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $466,050. <br />DI3CU33ION <br />The current dormitory areas at Fire Station No. 7 cannot accommodate both <br />male and female firefighters (Exhibit 1). This project constructs a <br />separate restroom, locker room and dormitory space for two female <br />firefighters. The improvements will also upgrade the existing restroom, <br />locker room and the entrance of the station to comply with ADA <br />requirements. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on May 30 and June 1, 2007, and <br />bids were opened on June 26, 2007.
