The supportive service funds are used to pay <br />for drug and alcohol counseling, sober living fees and other services <br />needed by the youth. <br />On July 13, 2007, the WIB, by a vote of 16:1, approved the RFP/Oversight <br />Committee of the Youth Council's recommendation. These funding <br />recommendations take into account the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) <br />requirement to ensure at least thirty percent of the youth funds are <br />spent on out-of-school youth.
