HEALY, Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />OPEN SESSION <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 54954.2(b) (2) of the Brown Act, the Council may add an item to its <br />agenda upon a determination by a two-thirds vote of the members of the legislative <br />body present at the meeting, or, if less than two-thirds of the members are present, a <br />unanimous vote of those members present, that there is a need to take immediate <br />action and that the need for action came to the attention of the local agency subsequent <br />to the posting of the agenda <br /> <br />The City Attorney advised the City Council that written communication has been <br />received from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP., litigation entitled, <br /> <br />Southern California Gas Company vs. City of Santa Ana, <br />USDC No. CV-02-00658-GHK <br /> <br />The City Attorney recommended the following agenda item be added to the Closed <br />Session Agenda: <br /> <br />Motion: Find that there is a need to add a matter that arose subsequent to the <br /> posting of the Agenda. <br /> <br />CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL--ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 369 OCTOBER 2'1, 2002 <br /> <br /> <br />
