Education and
training are paths out of poverty for the low-income women who come to our center. Effective workforce development
services are critical to ensure that entry-level workers become steadily employed and earn a living wage.

Women Helping Women serves women who are actively seeking employment but face any number of barriers
including, but not limited to, domestic violence, substance abuse recovery, illiteracy, homelessness, transitioning as
an emancipated minor, as a refugee or a recent parolee, lack of marketable job skills and divorce. These women
generally have minimal work related skills and a limited work history that further challenges their ability to find
placement in a position that will enable them to move toward economic independence. WHW offers a racially diverse
population of low-income women in Santa Ana free access to a comprehensive employment acquisition program.

Schedule of Performace
Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12-
month contract period per quarter.
