<br />SUBRECIPIENT warrants the following: <br /> <br />I. SUBRECIPIENT will comply with Public Law 88-352, Title VI of the Civil Rights <br />Act of ] 964 (42 U. S. C. section 2000 ct scq.) and implcmcnting rcgulation in 24 CFR <br />Part ]. <br /> <br />2. No pcrson in the United Statcs shall on the ground of race, color, rcligion, national <br />origin, or scx, bc cxcludcd from participation in, or bc dcnicd thc bcncfits of, or be <br />subjcctcd to discrimination undcr any program or activity fund cd in whole or in part with <br />community dcvelopment funds made available pursuant to the ACT. <br /> <br />3. All laborcrs and mcchanics, cmploycd by contractors or subcontractors in the <br />pcrformance of construction work financed in whole or in part with community <br />dcvelopment funds shall bc paid wages at rates not lcss than those prevailing on similar <br />construction in thc locality as detcrmincd in accordancc with the Davis-Bacon Act, as <br />amcnded, 40 U. S. C. Scctions 276 a 1-5, exccpt for individuals who pcrform scrviccs for <br />which thcy volunteered; do not reccive compensation for such scrviccs; or arc paid <br />cxpenscs, reasonable benefits, or a nominal fce for such scrviccs; and are not othcrwise <br />cmployed at any timc in construction work. <br /> <br />4.
