Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM: The Santa Ana Boxing Club serves Santa Ana at-risk teenagers and young adults by <br />providing boxing training, academic help and character education. This program is open from 3:00 -7:30 The <br />program meets at a historical old street boxing gym on Fourth Street and Garfield in Santa Ana. <br />The Santa Ana Boxing Club will provide: <br />1. Boxing Skills Instruction <br />Provide certified boxing trainers to instruct students in the art of boxing M-F from 3:00-7:30 <br />Provide opportunities for young people to compete in boxing tournaments and exhibitions. <br />2. Academic tutoring <br />Provide a place for teens to do their homework <br />Provide computers to facillitate homework projects <br />Provide a tutor (s) to assist students in completing their homework. <br />3. Character Development and Mentoring Activiites <br />Take time out for group discussions and instructions <br />Provide caring mentors to listen and give individual direction <br />Invite businessmen and communty members to come and inspire the young people <br />4.
